The UN Secretary-General will attend the 12th ASEAN-UN Summit in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: Between November 11 and 13, 2022, UN Secretary-General António Guterres will be in Cambodia to attend the 12th ASEAN-UN Summit and the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summit.

As stated in a statement issued by the UN in Cambodia, during this significant visit, UN Secretary-General António Guterres will concentrate on important issues, including regional and global trends, climate emergencies, and the situation in Myanmar.

While in Cambodia, UN Secretary-General will also visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

Following his visit to the museum, he will also give a press briefing for the media.
